How We Rate

How We Rate

Before a bookmaker can be recommended on SportAffi, it has to pass our review. We open a real account, deposit, place bets and test withdrawals before writing anything. Here’s what we look at:

Licence and safety. We only review operators with a valid licence (the UK Gambling Commission for UK players, and Irish-licensed operators as the new regime rolls out). Safety and fair treatment always come first.

Odds and football markets. We compare odds quality on football — the major European leagues, the Premier League and the Champions League — and the range of markets on offer.

Offers and terms. We don’t just look at the size of an offer, but at the real terms: wagering requirements, minimum odds, time limits and how easy it is to use.

Mobile and app. Most people bet on their phones, so the app and mobile site must be fast and simple.

Payments and withdrawals. We test how quickly and smoothly money comes out, and which payment methods are supported.

Customer service. We contact support with real questions and judge response time and helpfulness.

Responsible gambling. We check that the operator offers proper tools such as deposit and loss limits and self-exclusion.

Our overall verdict is given as a score from 1 to 5. We update reviews regularly and remove a recommendation if an operator no longer meets our standards. We earn commission when you sign up through our links, but it never affects our scores.
